TCS Alumni Anecdotes:
We have been following up with some of our alumni, and wanted to share with you some of what they are telling us about their experience as a TCS graduate.
Aaron Wagnitz (Class of 2019) is
currently a student at Oklahoma State University and is majoring in architecture.
Did you feel like TCS prepared you to be successful your first year at OSU?
Through classroom structure, vast opportu-nities of involvement, and spiritual account-ability, I believe TCS has prepared me to be successful at Oklahoma State University. Teachers pushed me to turn in homework on time, and take good notes for upcoming tests. On top of that, TCS had SO many opportunities to become involved, and to build your leadership skills. I was involved with student council, National Honor Socie-ty, and participated in multiple sports. TCS also helped me build a relationship with God that has helped me through college. In fact, on graduation day I was handed a devotion book by a teacher just to show how much they care about our walk with Christ as we enter the world.
Is there anything you could tell us about your TCS experience that is helping you at college?
The faculty and staff pushed me to become a successful student in the classroom, but also taught me values and good morals to hold onto. I learned how to achieve a good work ethic through the teachers so I could find time to get involved with other things. Yes, some of it I learned on my own, but the teachers gave me the opportunities and resources so I would have no excuse to be a good student. My experiences with my classmates will always be a part of my life, and I’m thankful to have had such great people shape me in just the five years I attended TCS. Although it’s weird to think about it, I’m proud to be an alumni of Texoma Christian school. Congratulations!

Applications for Head of School are starting to come in and we will start the process of reviewing applications next week. Please continue to join us in prayer for all God has for TCS in the days to come.

Maddie Brockelman
Haley Madison Brockelman “Maddie” has been a student at Texoma
Christian School for the past fifteen years. She has attended TCS since Pre K Three! While at TCS, she has participated in cheerleading and drama. She is also a member of National Honor Society, Sisters in Service, and the Photography and Art Club. In her spare time, Maddie enjoys painting, drawing and crafting. She attends North Park Baptist Church, and she loves spending time with her friends. She also loves to give gifts.
A few of Maddie’s favorite memories of her days at TCS include the fourth grade “Ink Store”, the Tennessee trip and the Washington D.C. trip.
Maddie explained that by TCS having a smaller classroom environment, it has allowed her teachers to help fully develop her studies.
When asked who has influenced her throughout her school years, Maddie said, “My parents have given me constant encouragement and support throughout the years.”
Following high school, Maddie plans to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University and major in Psychology and minor in Child Development.
A verse that has meant a lot to Maddie is Colossians 3:23-24. It says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” (NIV)
