These 8 steps allow teachers to
plan and document their
progress in completing their
Professional Development
Plans.
#1 Evaluator Link and #’s 5 and 8 Evaluator Approval Signatures at blue arrows
seen below.
The teacher completes a pre and post
observation survey, and the evaluator
completes at least 1 observation. The
results may be viewed at step # 5.
If a teacher receives an unsatisfactory rating, strategies must be initiated by the evaluator and the teacher must acknowledge them.
Both the teacher and evaluator choose which student growth measure to apply to that teacher’s evaluation (5% from each).
Both the teacher and evaluator review the final ratings for each of the 22 components, and both sign off to verify the ratings are correctly
represented.
By clicking on “View Observations”, the
teacher and evaluator can see the ratings
posted in every observation, and whether or
not the evaluator shared the results.
Observations, whether single or multiple,
are represented by colors and numbers that
correspond to specific observation dates.
Symbol indicates evidence recorded for that
component
Ratings are selected from a
drop-down screen.
Evaluators record evidence of the teacher’s
performance and choose the appropriate rating
reflected in the rubric.
