Investing in Women of the Future hosted the 2nd Annual “Pink Out” Breast Cancer Walk on Thursday, October 27, 2016. The walk is an inspiring, motivating, and powerful way to bring our school together and raise money for breast cancer awareness. The walk also allows us to honor survivors in our community. Half of the money raised from the walk will be donated to breast cancer research in the name of our faculty mem-ber, Ms. Johnson.

Homecoming Game

Golf

Cross Country

The Cross Country team is a hard working group of kids. Meets are held at Quiet Waters Parks, where multiple schools compete in hopes of coming out victorious. The Bucks had an amazing season and continues to improve every year.

The Bucks Golf Team finished out their season with a strong performance at the district tournament on October 10th. Sophomore Zak Fletcher continued to make gains by shooting a 112 at Country Club of Coral Springs. “It feels good when you play well.” Fletcher said. The team will continue to work hard throughout the offseason to get ready for next year’s matches.

To finish off Spirit Week, many students attended the Homecoming Game and showed off their school spirit. The Beach Boys had a great game winning 42-7 against the Monarch Knights. One of the players from Monarch suffered an unfortunate concussion during the 2nd quarter and had to leave the game. The fast-paced action continued with excitement in the air. The marching band, cheerleaders, and audience made the game unforgettable and a great way to end the week.
