Good Fortune Turns 30
On Valentine’s Day, Good Fortune Jewelry & Pawn turns 30. Founded in 1992 by Roger and Maddie Weinreich, the store on Main Street is a favorite des-tination for locals and tourists alike. Good Fortune’s long-standing reputation and extensive collection of pre-owned, vintage, and estate jewelry, attracts buy-ers and sellers from across the country.
In honor of their 30th birthday, Good Fortune is holding a Super Special Sale on one select item in the store, each day during the month of February. A photo of the daily item will be shared on their Facebook Page (facebook.com/goodfortunejewelry) and also displayed in the shop on the day of the sale. For example, a pre-owned diamond ring that retails new for $1295 and is priced at Good Fortune for $695, will be offered at the Super Special Sale for only $150.
Good Fortune is committed to helping couples who are getting married. In celebration of their birthday, the store is having a 2-for-1 sale on brand new gold wedding bands – buy one ring and get the second wedding band for free. This is unlike any sale that the store has ever offered… and it also includes a free “Justice of the Peace” for the wedding ceremony!
Since pre-owned jewelry sells for less than half the price of new jewelry, the financial savings are tremendous. When couples are shopping for engage-ment rings at Good Fortune, they usually end up purchasing a larger diamond because of the value that pre-owned jewelry affords. In addition, Good Fortune’s pre-owned jewelry is restored to “like new” condition and thus has the same appearance as brand new jewelry.
The Pawn Shop, a division of Good Fortune, pur-chases gold and silver for cash, and also offers loans for individuals, families and businesses in the tri-state region.
