Shri D. P. Srivastava Dy. Director General , O/o DC ( MSME) ,New Delhi was on two days tour to

Jharkhand. On 31.05.2019 , He visited MSME-DI Ranchi and had review meeting with Director(I/C) and

officers of MSME-DI Ranchi. On 01.06.2019, He visited Gold & Silver Jewellery Cluster at Sukrigarha,

Ramgarh District, Jharkhand along with Director (I/C) and Officers of MSME-DI, Ranchi and had meeting

with members of Cluster and discussed their problems and talks on Government initiatives, interventions

for their benefits. Around 15 members attended the meeting. Shri Shirish Pati Tripathi, District

Entrepreneur Coordinator and Shri Bhushan Kumar Dangi, Block Entrepreneur Coordinator also attended

the meeting. After meeting he also visited few units of the cluster.

Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad attended one day Seminar on Energy conservation for Refractory

Industries at Kumardhubi Club, Chirkunda on 03.05.2019 duly organized by TERI, New Delhi.

3.

Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi delivered lecture on schemes of Ministry of MSME during educational visit of

Students and Teachers of Ram Krishna Mission, Ranchi, Vivekananda University on 08.05.2019 at MSME-

DI Ranchi.

4.

Officer of MSME-DI Ranchi attended and gave presentation on Ministry of MSME schemes during

workshop called NAMCABS 2.0 (National Mission for Capacity Building of Bankers for Financing MSME

Sector) organised by RBI Ranchi on 10.05.2019 at Ranchi.

5.

Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi attended and delivered lecture on Role of MSME-DI for Youth and Skill in the

workshop called "Empowering Youth Through Education and Skill Development" organasied by

Ramakrishna Mission at Ranchi on 10.05.2019.

6.

Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi delivered lecture on 11.05.2019 on Schemes of Ministry of MSME in the 3

Days training programme @organized for Block Coordinator of Mukhya Mantri Kutir Vikas Board,

Jharkhand by Vikas Bharti Bishnupur, Gumla at Bishnupur.

Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi attended State Level Steering Committee meeting under chairmanship of

Director, Industries, Government Of Jharkhand for cluster Development on 14.05.2019 at Nepal House,

Ranchi.

8.

Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi attended 67th State Level Banker's Committee meeting on 15.05.2019 at

Hotel Radisson Blu, Ranchi.

9.

Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi along with Shri D. Vaidya, Sr. Consultant, O/o DC(MSME), New Delhi and

General Manager, DIC Khunti visited District Khunti (Siladone village & M/s Tajna Shellac unit etc) to see

the prospects of intervention of Livelihood schemes on 16.05.2019.

Director (I/c) and Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi along with Sri D. Baidya, Sr. Consultant, O/o DC MSME New

Delhi visited Brass and Bronze utensil cluster Kariyatpur, Hazaribag for finding scope of intervention of

MSME schemes in the cluster and in the aspirational district on 17.05.2019.

A workshop on "Hypertension - Prevention" was organised at MSME-DI, Ranchi in association with Dr.

Reddys Foundation For Health Education on 21.05.2019. Dr. V. K. Jagnani, MD, renowned Physician taken

session on Hypertension & Prevention. All officers & staff of MSME-DI Ranchi attended the workshop.

MSME-DI Ranchi under Chairmanship of Director (I/C) MSME-DI Ranchi conducted Monthly Progress

Report meeting of MSME-DI Ranchi and Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad on 22.05.2019 at MSME-DI Ranchi. The

meeting was attended by the officers of MSME-DI Ranchi and Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad.

Director(I/c) along with officers of MSME-DI Ranchi visited Cambridge Institute of Technnology,

Cambridge Village, Tatisilwai, Ranchi, Jharkhand and Jarkhand MSME Tool room Tatisilwai for ESDP and

Business Incubator work on 27.05.2019.

14.

MSME-DI Ranchi under Chairmanship of Director (I/C) MSME-DI Ranchi conducted Intra Departmental

Coordination Meeting under Ministry of MSME on 30.05.2019 at MSME-DI Ranchi. The meeting was

attended by the Officials of MSME-DI Ranchi, IDTR, Jamshedpur, KVIC & NSIC.

Other Activities

• Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi attended Vendor Development Programme organised by South Eastern

Railway on 01.05.2019 at Jamshedpur.

• Director(I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi attended 42nd Meeting of the Empowered Committee on Micro, Small and

Medium Enterprises (MSME) chaired by GM (Officer In charge), RBI at RBI Ranchi on 21st May 2019.

• Director(I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi had meeting with Head, NSSH Ranchi at MSME-DI Ranchi on 24.05.2019 for

cluster intervention.

• Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi visited and had meeting with Director & Head,CIPET: Centre for Skilling and

Technical Support(CSTS),Dept. of Chemical & Petrochemicals,Ministry of Chemical & Fertilizer,Govt. of

India,Sub-Regional Employment Officer,National Career Service Centre for SC/ST Ranchi,Ministry of Labour

& Employment (DGE)and Assistant Director(Rehabilitation) I/c,National Career Service Centre for

Differently Abled,Ministry of Labour & Employment (DGE) for empaneling Institute/organization and

faculty for organizing training programmes(ESDP/EAP/IMC /MDP etc) on 27.05.2019 .

• Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad visited and had meeting with Director and HOD’s of BIT Sindri

(Engineering College) for establishing new Incubation Centre. Demonstrated the coordinator of Innovation

Cell on procedure for ONLINE REGISTRATION of Incubation Center on 26.04.2019.

• Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad visited and had meeting with DIC-Giridih officials on 13.05.19 for

collection of Data on Expert Guest faculty and infrastructure available for organizing ESDP/EAP/IMC

program in coming days.

• Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad visited and had meeting with DIC-Pakur officials on 02.05.19 for collection

of Data on Expert Guest faculty and infrastructure available for organizing ESDP/EAP/IMC program in

coming days.

• Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad visited and had meeting with DIC-Giridih officials on 13.05.19 for

collection of Data on Expert Guest faculty and infrastructure available for organizing ESDP/EAP/IMC

program in coming days.

• 31 Nos. of Persons/Units got assistanc through Correspondence/telephone etc from Officers of MSME-DI

Ranchi and Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad during the period.

• 07 Nos. of units were visited by the Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi and Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad during the

period. Few units of Gold & Silver Jewellery Cluster, Ramgarh and Brass & Bronze Cluster, Kariyatpur,

Hazaribag were also visited by the Director(I/C) and officers of MSME-DI Ranchi.

• 61 Nos. of visitors were attended by the Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi and Br.MSME-DI Dhanbad during the

period.

• As on 29.05.2019 ,121031 units in Jharkhand are registered in UDYOG ADDHAR.

Proposed Activities in the month of June,19

• To attend Project clearance committee meeting organized by JIADA.

• To attend Cluster Review Meeting under chairmanship of Secretary

,Industries, Government of Jharkhand .

• To participate in One day Entrepreneurship Development and Awareness

programe organised by NSIC under National ST/SC Hub scheme.

• To visit Technical Institute for Intervention of “ Support for Entrepreneurial

and Managerial Development of SMEs through Incubators” scheme.

• To visit DIC, ITIs, Polytechnics and other technical institutions or other

colleges/Institute, organization for organizing training programmes(IMC-

G1/IMC-G_@/EAP/MDP/ESDP) under E-SDP Scheme.

• To visit 10 PMEGP units along with officials of KVIC and NSIC for rendering

necessary consultancy and Handholding support to successfully running

PMEGP units.

• To visit 03 approved clusters namely, Lac processing Cluster, Bundu, Honey

processing Cluster ,Kuru and Gold & Silver Jewellery Cluster, Sukarigarha.

• To attend 65th meeting of Techno Economic Appraisal Committee of MSE-

CDP under chairmanship of AS&DC (MSME), O/o DC (MSME),New Delhi on

13.06.2019.
