DIGITAL COMMUNICATION MADE LIFE EASY
We hear a lot about the digital communications enabling the Urban Local Bodies for easy communication and quick work. It is
vibrant today to be able to communicate with the different people in any format and method they prefer and also the tools that
allow to work efficiently and affordably.
As digital communication made life easier and affordable, but also it is very important to understand that the paper work too is
an important thing. Paper is a sustainable, renewable and recyclable plant based product. The sustainable product connects us in
so many ways to the important things in life. It is very important to reduce paper waste and recycle paper.
Today, 90% of paper pulp is made of wood. Paper production accounts for about 35% of felled trees. Recycling paper
conserves natural resources, saves energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and keeps landfill space free for other types of
trash that can't be recycled.
Kurnool Municipal Corporation aims to opt e-governance modules and also to plant as many as saplings in this monsoon as a
part of maintaining ecological balance i.e. one way of utilizing technology and another way ensuring greenery to benefit the
residents of the city at present and the future generations.
Key Words: Digital communication, urban local body, ecological balance, future generation.
