HEAD’S MESSAGE: Dear Parents,

The month of March was bustling with activities. The excitement of the students when they planned and prepared models for the science exhibition was contagious and involved the whole school in the science exhibition fever. The presenters were equally impressive and their confidence gave the event a flavor of information plus creativity. The Annual Milad was again beautifully managed. This year the Naat competition made it thoroughly enjoyable. Students were not given much time but they were excellent, which showed their determination to make every event of their school successful and memorable. A deep felt thanks to my team, who are always behind me in taking up challenges and providing unending support. 23

event which will be remembered for a long time. The students dressed up as historical figures were marvelous. I hope and pray that our school maintains this exciting, vibrating and motivating environment in future also.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The school experienced a “Marvelous March” this year!! An event filled month started with the PTM and science exhibition. The remarkable efforts of students made the science exhibition a hit for that day. It increased confidence in all the participating students. Coming towards the mid of the month, preparations for Milad were at its peak. And finally when the students came with white dresses and colorful dupattas, the sight was a magnificent one! The recitations of Quranic verses and Naat were done very gracefully. No doubts for quoting it as the “Mega event”! Lastly, the Pakistan day celebrations were the reflection of combined efforts of the whole teaching staff. Every teacher gave life to a famous leader/personality of Pakistan. The event was exciting and full of enthusiasm. Students enjoyed to their fullest. -Ms. Sara Anwar

Pakistan belongs to us and we belong to Pakistan. If it is good,

it is so because of us and if it is bad, it is also because of us.

We celebrated Pakistan resolutions day on Thursday, 28th march 2013. The day began with normal assembly. Then after some information about 23rd march, one student from each class came dressed up as a celebrity and gave a short speech. Then came the choir with its lovely Pakistani songs. It charged the students’ enthusiasm. After it a wonderful skit prepared by the green house students and faculty was played. It was well-planned and most of the participants gave appreciative performance which was admired by a majority of the students. After this came some more celebrities and then it was time to end the program. In the end we got a great lesson which was that: “Pakistan belongs to us and we belong to Pakistan. PAKISTAN DAY

On 14th March 2013, The City School Gulshan Campus B hosted a prestigious event –the Annual Milad.

The mothers who attended the event got a chance to witness the hard work and efforts done by their

children in its preparation. The mothers were given a gift by the teachers on behalf of the school as a

token of appreciation of their presence in the event. The event started with the recitation of the Holy

Quran and followed by recitation of many beautiful Naat. Also, we were enlightened with many

beautiful Hadiths. In the end; Mam Rana presented prizes to the winners. And Sir Zahid’s heart

touching dua marked the end of the event. All in all it was an event to be remembered.
