DIABETES -As the population’s stress increases, the epidemic spreads
• In India, about 63 millionpeople suffer from diabetes, and this figure is likely to go up to 80 million by 2025.
• Delhi alone has more than 30lakh people suffering from this disease (Indo-UScollaborative study).
• A study conducted by DrAnoop Misra, showed that37% of urban south Asian Indians suffer from Diabetes and pre-Diabetes.
When Stress is heartbreaking…India might actually be headed to be among the mostworst disease (hypertension) afflicted countries in the
Experts say that the incidence of high blood pressure ranges from 20 to 40 percent in urban areas and 12 to 17 percent in rural areas in India.High blood pressure or hypertension kills nearly 1.5 million people every year in South-East Asia

WORKPLACE STRESS
• According to reports 50% of employees in India Inc., are under stress: 30% have problems such as addictions and marital discord and20% suffer from depression.
• A NIMHANS study says 36% of techies in Bangalore show signs of psychiatric disorder.
• 66% of CEOs in India in 2006 were discovered to be stressed out; with11% of that group, finding life toomuch to handle (ASSOCHAM).

Understanding Stress
« Stress,the disease of
the 21st Century »
Stress Definition
Stress is the response of our body to the demandsoriginating generally from outside of ourselves
The Stressors are the events, conditions and circumstances in our surrounding that trigger Stress responses. Stressors can be internal & external
Note: The adoption of the term stress as a psychologicalconcept is frequently attributed to Hans Selye in 1936.
External Stressors Major life changes. These changes can be positive — a new
marriage, a planned pregnancy, a promotion or a new house. Or they can be negative — the death of a loved one or going through a divorce.
Environment. These stressors could include a noise disturbance, such as a barking dog, or light disturbance, as from a billboard across the street.
Unpredictable events. This category could include an increase in monthly bills, an uninvited houseguest or a pay cut.Family. The occasional spousal spat, a teenager who refuses tocooperate or a nagging mother-in-law can all contribute to stress.
Workplace. Perhaps an overwhelming workload or an impossible boss.
Social. For example, a blind date or making a speech to a room full of co-workers.
Internal Stressors
Some of thefeelings and
stress response can be self-induced. Thosethoughts that pop into your head and cause
you unrest are known as internal stressors. Examplesinclude: Fears. These can be things such as the fear of flying or heights, or
more subtle apprehensions like speaking to a group of strangers at a party.Uncertainty. Stemming perhaps from a looming restructuring at theoffice or waiting for medical test results.
Attitude. Having a negative view of the world in and of itself can be stressful, since you create an unpleasant environment in which to live.
Unrealistic expectations. A perfectionist or controlling personality may lead to unnecessarily high stress levels. Over-scheduling and not planning ahead can lead to a world of worries.
Selye’s model of Stress
Alarm stage (ideal stage): in response to someexternal stressor we first react by mobilizing our physical resources to deal with or escape from the stressor. The body produces stress hormones but come back to homeostasis easily
Adaptation stage: The body is not able to reverse the stress situation. The body does not produce the stress hormones. The body adapts to the stress. No symptoms (No symptoms does not mean no diseases!)
Exhaustion stage: occurs if an individual is repeatedly exposed to the stressor and is unable to escape. Total body exhaustion. Vulnerabilities to diseases
Stress Types
Physical Mental –
– eg: physical efforteg: mental fatigue
Psychological – eg: grieving Environmental – eg: radiation
Professional – eg: change of work
Social – eg: isolation
Relational – eg: divorce
Financial – eg: lack of money
Acute VS Chronic Stress
Acute stress, also known as the fight-or-flight response,is your body's immediate reaction to a threat, challengeor scare. The acute stress response is immediate, it isintense, and in certain circumstances, it can be thrilling.
Chronic stress results from long-term exposure to acutestress. The chronic stress response is much more subtlethan the acute stress response, but the effects may be longer lasting and more problematic.
The acute stress response Stress response, often referred to as the "fight-or-flight" reaction, is our body's
rapid and automatic switch into "high gear."
When we encounter such a threat, the hypothalamus sets off an alarm system in our body. Through a combination of nerve and hormonal signals, this system prompts our adrenal glands to release a surge of hormones — the most abundant being adrenaline and cortisol.
Adrenaline increases our heart rate, elevates our blood pressure and boosts energy supplies.
Cortisol, the primary stress hormone, increases sugars (glucose) in the bloodstream, enhances the brain's use of glucose and increases the availability of substances that repair tissues.
Cortisol also curbs functions that would be nonessential or detrimental in a fight-or-flight situation. It alters immune system responses and suppresses the digestive system, the reproductive system and growth processes.
The complex alarm system also communicates with regions of the brain that control mood, motivation and fear.
Actions of cortisol and the catecholamines
Sugar Metabolism: increase in the production of sugars by the liver: hyperglycemia andhyper-insulinism (diabetes).
Proteins Metabolism: increase in the protidic destruction (muscles, skin, bone)
Fat Mass Metabolism: inhibit the lipogenesis, raises cholesterol and triglycerides
Water, Calcium and Sodium Metabolism: increase the drainage of water by the kidney, the retention of salt and the calcium and potassium loss in urines.
Bone Tissue Metabolism and Growth: inhibition of growth by action on the cartilage, antagonism with the vitamin D and probable inhibition of the growth hormone. The stop of the growth in the child can occur for amounts relatively low.Action on coagulation: increase the risk of thrombosis.
Action in brain: euphoria action, stimulative on the central nervous system and increasethe risk of insomnia.
Bloodstream Action: Hypertensive action and hypoxemia
Immunological Action: action anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic agent
(In excess cortisol can increase the risk of infections.)
Digestive Action: increase the gastric acidity being able to involve an ulcer and decrease the colon peristalic action.Oxidative Stress Action: increase the free radicals of oxygen

Stress Management Today
Health programs focus mainly on treating a disease andeliminating symptomsVery little Prevention & Management of Stress
Stress has many aspects to be considered: physical, mental, emotionnal, environmental, social, etc.Quantum Physics shows that the physical body representonly 1% of the total reality of an individualDue to the complexity of a human being, doctors and
therapist cannot have the full vision of the multipledimensions of an individualTechnology is available today to provide a more complete picture of the reality of the client/patient

Quantum Medicine
Quantum Medicine constitute a health care system that considers theWHOLE patient.
It allows the treatment of the whole person at all levels from the the physical body to the most subtle vibratory level
Any disease (traumatic, toxic or viral) has an inner cause characterizedby a dysfunctionning of the body’s biological bioenergetic terrain.
By restoring the bio-energetic terrain, Quantum therapies allow self- healing of the body
This is for this reason that Quantum Medicine is the 21st century Healthand Wellness system!
The concept of Bioresonance
The body, as all objects in nature, emits continouslyfrequencies that can be measured. These frequencies inform the environment about the state of the bodyEach body’s cell and organ has it own frequential signature
To communicate, the body’s cells and organs vibrate at a specific frequency. They resonate. They communicate by resonanceWhen this capacity of resonating to a specific frequency is perturbed, the resulting frequency of the whole body is also perturbed. This results often in various troubles and in many cases, in disease.
Too much STRESS = DISEASE
When our cells vibrate at a high level, we experimentHEALTH. When the frequency of our cells is low, we become vulnerable to disease
Disease is found in cells that do not vibrate, that arenot charged, that are not energized
All Disease is the result of an energy that vibrates ata wrong frequency.
The SCIO/INDIGO/EDUCTOR increase the vibrationor frequency of our cells, raising the body’s vibratorylevel to its healthy level state
Entrainment for better healthImagine your cells as radio receivers sending and receiving all the
signals necessary for life.Stress is like static interference in those communications which keep us healthy.Biofeedback is like fine tuning the radio dial, allowing the cells to hear thesignals of life clearly and respond more appropriately.Biofedback is like giving the body the energy it needs to perform.

How do they work?
SCIO/INDIGO/EDUCTORperform a « scan » of the body, reading the physical emotional vibrations of theclient through harnesses
and
attached to the ankles, wristsand head
The harnesses measure andtransmit the resonant information between the client and the device.
The Body is Electric
Our body’s first signal that all isnot well is vibrational or electromagnetic.
The damaging frequencies are stored in cells and may build up unnoticed for years.
Chemical changes begin to appear later and bacteria, viruses and other pathogens take hold.
Our lifestyles can also create damaging frequencies that could be detected long before physical symptoms erupt.
Analyze – Detect - Harmonize
The SCIO/INDIGO/EDUCTORAnalyze the body’s tissues and organs
Detect the stress causing dysfunctions, vulnerabilities, weaknessess and health problems
Hamonize with healing frequencies the detected imbalances.
