On March 24th, seven prints from the ‘Topeka Ruins’ series were on display and for sale at the Fine and Thriving Art Show held at The

Breakroom (9th and Kansas). The show was a success as two prints from the series found a

new home!

On April 22nd, come out to Highland Park High School’s annual art showcase, Arts @ The Park! Visual/Fine arts, Choir, Band, and Orchestra are among the groups that will be represented. There will also be a HPHS Alumni art show! The show begins at 4:30 pm and last until 8 pm. See you there!

Also this month, check out the Highland Park Theater production of ‘Wiley and the Hairy Man” running April

Highland Park Community Project

On Thursday, March 24th I had the pleasure to be apart of the Highland Park Community Project. Stu-

dents and Staff from Highland Park High School, along with police officers and other city officials

cleaned up the area around three abandoned home across the street from the high school. Students also painted and placed murals on the homes to

give them a more decorative look.
