e-DMS (Electronic Dealer Management

USER MANUAL

1. Type url www.modenas.com.my/sso at your browser.
The window will display as screenshot below.
Enter user id and password. Ex: KDH01

2. Click on e-DMS link as shown below.
3. e-DMS page will be displayed. There are three parts inside e-DMS page which are:
Customers and Bike’s Information
Service’s Information
Parts Needed
At Customers and Bike’s Information part, users are not required to fill the
information as it is auto fill data retrieved from SEARCH button. However, in the
Service’s Information and Parts needed, users have to fill:
Mileage,
Problem Statement,
Part Number and
Quantity.

4. To key in the warranty claim, select the Registration Number at drop down list and
enter the registration number in the box provided. Then, click SEARCH button.
5. Data will automatically present in the Customers and Bike Information part once the
SEARCH button is clicked. Please refer the picture given.

6. If the data is not found, select the Frame Number at drop down list and enter the
Frame number in the required box. Click SEARCH button again.
7. After the information has been retrieved, click the INSERT button.

8. Notify that, there is an Alert Message pop up “Claim No : xxxxx has been generated.
Please proceed to enter service information.” Make sure the claim no is recorded at
users document for future reference. Besides, Claim No and Status is presented at the
top, right corner as highlighted in the picture.
9. Then, key in the Mileage, Problem Statement, Part Number and Quantity at
Service Information and Parts Needed. Click ADD button.
10. After that click SAVE button and there is Alert Message pop up “Claim has been
successfully Saved”. Notified the status changed to In Progress.

11. To proceed, click CONFIRM button and there is one alert message pop up “Claim
has been successfully sent to MODENAS”. Notified at the top right corner, the status
has been changed to CONFIRMED.

12. To search back the warranty claim, select the Job No at the drop down list and insert
the Job No in the prepared box and click SEARCH.

13. Besides that, users may check the status at Status Inquiry bar in e-DMS web based.
User may check the status inquiry in three different options:
Status
Claim No
Start Date and End Date
Search by Status.

Search by Claim Number.
Search by Start Date and End Date.

14. On the other hand, users also may refer the parts inquiry at Parts Inquiry bar. Users
have two options to view the parts either by item or by image.
View by Item. Enter the part code inside the prepared box.

View by Item. Select the item category at the drop down list.
View by Image. Select the model and type. Then, click on image.

There is new screen show the clicked image with the larger size. Inside this screen, it shows
the related parts with more details which are price and part description.

15. In the e-DMS web page, users also can view report for submitted warranty claim.
Users may click on Report at the top bar.
Select Month and Year then, click on SEARCH button.

16. To find the person in charge regarding e-DMS, users may click on the Contact Us at
the top bar.
