Requirements

Domain names- it is the text shown when the IP address has been resolved. Domain names must be considered as the customers will not be able to remember the IP address since it is long and meaningless letters and numbers put together.

Multiple registration of domains (.com as well as.co.uk)- this would allow customers to access the web page even if they do not remember the correct extension.

Programming requirements- it is required to be in a HTML form. The HTML code should provide languages such as, PHP and JavaScript. PHP(hypertext pre-processor) allows web pages to connect to databases and online payment systems. JavaScript offers interactivity between the computer and the user.

Download speed- this should be considerably fast as customers would not like to wait. In order to accomplish this it would be best to compress the images, as they would take longer to download. Also to avoid using large tables as it would also increase the time taken to download.

Browser and platform compatibility- the browser should be made easy for all targeted users to be able to use efficiently. Also the platform should still consist of the older versions as a drastic change to the platform may lead to a reduction of customers which would cause a loss to the organisation.
