Step 1: Close ALL Programs

• If you have open web browsers, documents, instant messenger programs, etc. the software will not download or work properly for you.

– If you are having issues with download EG, this could be why.

• Do NOT attempt to open any webpages, documents, messenger programs, etc. while taking your test. EG will prevent you from doing this. You won’t even be able to open documents on your computer or view your textbook.

• This software is meant to prevent cheating. However, this is not an indication that K12 or I believe you are doing so. This is a preventative measure ONLY.

• If you are having issues downloading or using EG please review the documents I have sent.

Close ANYTHING you have open, besides the course/test.

Review instructions, follow prompts, select ExamGuard Download

1: Open 2: Double-click on program 3: Allow program

Step 6: Exit and Re-Open Course

Exit the course and internet reopen web browser (internet) go back to course and Unit Test Take Test

Step 7: Allow program to run

Note: this will lock all applications other than the test)
