E-book formats> Different providers use different formats, and this affects the

way you view the e-book

> ePub is designed for flowing text, which adapts the amount of words per line to the device being used, or the sized font you choose

> PDF is fixed, like an image. If you view a PDF on your phone, you’ll need to zoom and scroll to read it

> Reading panes run within your browser to allow you to view the e-book, and they are usually fixed width too

> Ebrary - only view or print – no downloading possible> MyiLibrary - download up to 10 pages at a time> ScienceDirect - download a “reasonable portion” as a

PDF file
