All Dynapower products are designed and manufactured in our 150,000 square foot vertically integrated facility in South Burlington, Vermont. BI-DIRECTIONAL INVERTER

This multi-port 50kW grid tied Inverter couples Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) from a solar array directly with bi-directional AC/DC energy storage, enabling maximum efficiency and solutions to interconnect multiple solid state converters to a common AC feed.

Application: Battery Energy Storage, Solar Interconnection & Vehicle Charging

Dynapower’s engineering team includes power, mechanical, controls, electronic, and research and development engineers. Dynapower maintains modern, fully equipped research laboratories. In these facilities, prototypes, special and future product designs are developed, tested, and evaluated prior to manufacture. Inverters, battery formation circuits capable of bipolar operation, and ultra-stable scientific precision power supplies are developed in these laboratories. Research into advanced power automation and high power/high density rectifier circuits is ongoing. We utilize sophisticated circuit analyses and design software to engineer each system. Every component, from electronics to transformers, is computer designed and thoroughly checked before being released for production.

MANUFACTURING

It is Dynapower’s belief that monitoring every aspect of production guarantees the quality of the final product. Processes such as winding, casting, plating and painting are performed in-house. Dynapower uses only the highest grade raw materials available to construct final units to exact engineering tolerances.

Dynapower maintains a reputation for providing exceptionally reliable products. Once assembled, system features are tested to ensure that requirements and specifications are met or exceeded. We have an experienced group of technicians and all of the necessary equipment to comprehensively test our power conversion and transformation products.

Equipment test results, and a complete manufacturing history, are kept on file at Dynapower. Storing this data allows Dynapower to provide immediate assistance if you require service or spare parts. ENERGY MANAGMENT SYSTEMS

Dynapower manufactures a full line of ultrafast, bi-directional inverters for use with energy storage systems ranging from 30-100kVA in our Micro Power Systems™ (MPS), 100kVA to 2.0MVA in the Compact Power Systems™ 600V class, and fully integrated 1.0MVA to 6MVA medium voltage PowerSkid™ systems. Our Inverter systems utilize state of the art digital controllers for management of real & reactive power, system monitoring and system protection.

SWITCHMODE RECTIFIER

Dynapower offers the latest generation of Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled Switchmode DC power supplies featuring an innovative design to provide users with an operational and installation advantage.

TRANSFORMERS

Dynapower’s transformer products are custom designed to suit your overall system needs and include Liquid Filled, Dry Type Epoxy Cast Coil and Dry Type Vacuum Pressure Impregnated (VPI). All transformers are manufactured using copper conductors and grain oriented silicon core steel. Transformers are designed in accordance with ANSI and IEEE standards, but other standards can also be considered as required by individual customers.

Dynapower has extensive experience in providing SCR and Diode rectifiers for a wide variety of applications that include general metal finishing, anodizing, water treatment, crane duty, electrochemical, and battery applications.

The Touchpad is factory-ready to interface with automation, including the ability to accept and provide analog signals to monitor the output voltage and current as well as control via a serial interface.

MULTIPLE IN ONE SYSTEMS

Multiple-output-in-one-enclosure power supplies are a single enclosure with multiple independently controllable outputs. Both air and water-cooled, SCR and Switchmode Power Supplies can be packaged so that multiple outputs, ranging from two to twenty can be designed into one common enclosure.

Ongoing efforts to expand product lines and upgrade designs continue to receive top priority.

In 2010 Dynapower Company began a pilot project to demonstrate how wind and solar energy can

be combined to power the electrical grid. This project was a combination of cutting edge technology

and collaboration between local Vermont companies. It began with the installation of a 100kW wind

turbine and 101kW solar panels. The wind turbines and solar panels feed into a central hub called

a PowerSkid™. A bi-directional inverter combines all the feeds allowing power to flow to and from

industrial sized batteries. This enables Dynapower to bank energy by channeling power gleaned

from solar and wind into batteries.
