En Dynamobel, conscientes de los riegos que habitual-mente se atribuyen al mundo de la ofi cina - especial-mente aquellos que tienen que ver con la ergonomía y el sedentarismo-, se está trabajando de forma continua en el desarrollo de nuevos productos que fomentan la movilidad en el entorno de trabajo.

La mesa Move se enmarca dentro de este tipo de soluciones. Se trata del concepto de mesa regulable en altura, una necesidad creciente que ya no es exclusiva de los puestos de trabajo más técnicos.

UNA MESA A GRAN ALTURAA SUPERIOR DESK

Aware of the occupational risks commonly associated with the offi ce environment, particularly those to do with ergonomics and a sedentary lifestyle, Dynamobel continuously works to develop new products to encou-rage movement within the workplace.

One of the solutions it has come up with is the Move desk, based on the concept of the height-adjustable work surface, a growing need no longer exclusive to more technical work stations.

¿POR QUÉ UNA MESA REGULABLE EN ALTURA?Pasar muchas horas sentado en el puesto de trabajo es un hábito común en el mundo de la ofi cina. Sin embar-go, nuestro sistema locomotor está diseñado para una vida activa y el cuerpo demanda actividad física. La mayor parte de las horas que estamos despiertos las pasamos de manera sedentaria, un factor desencade-nante de enfermedades como la obesidad, diabetes, fi bromialgia, depresión o desorden metabólico entre otras. Todo desarrollo que disminuya un comportamien-to sedentario ayuda a la mejora de nuestra salud.

Sin duda una mesa regulable en altura contribuye en la mejora de estos aspectos. Pero una mesa regulable en altura es algo más que esto. La productividad aumenta entre un 10-20 % cuando estamos de pie. Los usuarios de puestos de trabajo sit-stand se sienten más motiva-dos, mantienen reuniones más efectivas y su carga de estrés se reduce considerablemente. La regulación de la mesa facilita un vínculo antropométrico ideal con ellos debido a su largo recorrido, favorecido por el uso de mecanismos silenciosos y de fácil manejo.

INTIMIDAD, ELECTRIFICACIÓN Y ESTABILIDADMove es ante todo una mesa regulable en altura, pero no es una mesa cualquiera. Dynamobel ha desarrollado un concepto integral de mesa que da respuesta a nece-sidades tan importantes como la intimidad, la electrifi -cación y la estabilidad del puesto.

La mesa puede ser equipada con paneles frontales de diferentes alturas y con faldón en el caso del puesto individual. Dispone de dos canales de electrifi cación y de columnas vertebradas integradas para conducir el cableado hasta el suelo. Su diseño constructivo es muy estable y trasmite muy buenas sensaciones en las situa-ciones más extremas.

WHY A HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE DESK?People working in the offi ce world often spend long hours sitting at their desks. Our musculoskeletal sys-tem, however, is designed for an active lifestyle and the body demands physical activity. We spend most of our waking hours sitting down, which may lead to medical conditions such as obesity, diabetes, fi bromyalgia, de-pression or metabolic disorders.

Everything that helps decrease sedentary behaviour helps to improve our health and a sit-stand desk is certainly a start. But a height-adjustable desk is more than just that. Productivity increases by 10-20% when standing up. The users of sit-stand desks are more moti-vated, hold more eff ective meetings and suff er from signifi cantly less stress. The wide range of adjustment means that the Move desk can be set to suit each indivi-dual to perfection and its silent, easy-to-use mechanis-ms please everyone.

PRIVACY, CABLE MANAGEMENT AND STABILITYMove is, fi rst and foremost, a height-adjustable desk, but it is no ordinary height-adjustable desk. Dynamobel has developed a comprehensive work surface which responds to such important requirements as privacy, ca-ble management and stability.

The desk can be equipped with screens of diff erent heights and the individual version can be fi tted with a modesty panel. It has two cable trays and built-in join-ted risers to lead the cables to the fl oor. The structure is extremely stable and the desk remains steady even when really put to the test.

As an anti-collision safety measure, the Move desk control unit has a highly sensitive system that activates a mechanical brake -both when rising and lowering- which stops all movement to avoid collision and the danger of body parts or objects getting trapped between surfaces.
