DYNALOG 2.8 – version 2.8.42

The following lists the new products and functions that are included in the DYNALOG 2.8.42 update. Please note that DYNALOG (2.5.42/ 2.6.42 / 2.7.42) must already be installed on your computer in order to run the update.

This version has been expanded with a new cabinet type (standard cabinet 3). This cabinet construction allows a top panel that sits within the side panels and a cabinet base on which the end panels are positioned. See sketch for clarification.

DYNAPLAN interface to CAD/CAM programsUsing DYNAPLAN, it is possible to export data to various CAD/CAM programs for further editing. This enables you to take advantage of both programs for optimal use.

Regardless of whether or not you want to use 3D data (dwg, dxf, etc), export your cabinets planned using DYNAPLAN into your CAD program (including fittings data) or even implement the fittings selection logic from DYNAPLAN in your CAD program - we offer the right solution.

AutoCAD® interface: The optional AutoCAD® interface can be installed as soon as you have successfully updated DYNAPLAN to the latest version (2.8.42). This requires that you have an AutoCAD® full version installed (2004-2012). The interfaces has also been upgraded for 64 bit operating systems.

The new version of DYNALOG also comes with 3D CAD data as well as 2D CAD data for hinge, pull-out and lift systems in the formats <dwg> and <dxf>. These data files can be easily edited further in your CAD program. (Other formats available upon request)

General information– All available DYNAPLAN data remain after the update is installed.– DYNASHOP (= shopping basket) is emptied automatically after update installation. Reason:

Nearly all items have been modified and/or optimised and, therefore, no longer match previously planned applications.

– Known DYNALOG 2.7 errors have been eliminated with this update.– Take this opportunity to integrate/update the current item numbers and prices from your hardware

distributor in your new version of DYNALOG. Please contact your hardware distributor regarding this. They would be happy to help.

Notes on download and installation:The following DYNALOG versions can be updated online: DYNALOG (2.5.42 / 2.6.42 / 2.7.42)

Downloading the update: Please make sure that the computer on which DYNALOG is installed is connected to the Internet. Click on the [Internet Update] icon in the DYNALOG Main mask and follow the instructions on the screen.

After a successful login, all available updates will be listed in the Download area. Click on the corresponding update in the "Download" column and save it to your desktop. Please close DYNALOG after the update has been downloaded. Double-click on the download file on your desktop to start the installation – follow the instructions on the screen.

Note: The download file can be deleted after the update has been installed successfully.

DYNALOG 2.8.42 update on CD-ROMIf you do not have Internet access or your Internet connection is not suitable for downloading, the DYNALOG update is also available on CD-ROM. Please request a copy via fax or e-mail. We will require your address information as well as the serial number of your DYNALOG version. The serial number is located on the original packaging or you can click on the [i] icon in the DYNALOG main mask to access the number.
