Search Types: Search types are indicated within the dropdown on the left-hand side. These include – Product Name, CAS

Number, Product Category, Company Name, Country, Services and Reactions.

Directory of World Chemical Producers (DWCP): The images below reflect the features and functions of DWCP.

My CIS Portal Page - Displays the portal landing page https://portal.chemicalinfo.com. Here you can adjust user

settings, check updates from CIS and conduct searches. The Research Service & Support link can also be accessed

here and throughout the site. This will send an email with your request directly to our onsite research team.

Product Name Search –Your text will pre-populate as you type. Products are listed by their formal nomenclature. An

exact match should appear as the first search result followed by other compounds containing your product type. Select

the DWCP module shortcut (the blue icon with the magnifying glass) to see a listing of producers of the product searched.

The additional module shortcuts indicate where that specific product or data is featured.

CAS Number Search – CAS Numbers provide the most accurate search method; bringing up an exact match search

result. Here you can also select the DWCP module shortcut (the blue icon with the magnifying glass) to see a listing of

producers of the product searched.

Company Name Search –Searching by a Company Name will return an exact match followed by a listing of other

companies containing one or more words in the original search. The listing results are sorted by advertisers, relevance,

and profile completeness. Here you can also select the DWCP module shortcut (the blue icon with the magnifying glass) to

see the company profile for the company searched.

Filtering Capabilities - You can customize your search by filtering the Producer Listing results and using the toggle system to turn

criteria on and off. Filters include Region, Country, Services, Reaction Type, Scale and Equipment used. Distributors may be hidden

by clicking on the Hide Distributors toggle. Selecting the Proof of Manufacturing Filter will remove any producers that do not have a POM certificate on file for their listing such as ISO, Halal, FDA DMF, etc. Filters vary by module.

Producer Listing Results Page – After selecting the DWCP module shortcut, a complete list of verified producers appears. This list can be exported to Excel, sorted and/or printed. Note the header contains high level chemical information on the

product searched.

Company Profile Tab– Displays comprehensive company information including but not limited to multiple factory and plant

locations, contacts across departments, certification information like ISO, GMP, Reach and other regulatory information,

Import/Export data and other media i.e. photos of plants, marketing brochures etc.

Company Profile & Product Catalog – After selecting a module shortcut from the producer listing, you will access that

producers company profile. Here you will find detailed company information including the headquarter address and

contacts, company logo, social media links, profile completeness and comprehensive product catalog. From this page you

can mark a company as a favorite, make and save a note, blacklist or print. Note the Submit a Research Request button appears here and when clicked allows users to submit a request directly to the Research department.

Certifications Drawer – Here you will find a producer’s ISO certification, GMP and/or any additional certifications they

hold. If they have chosen to provide clickable pdf documentation it is housed here.

Import/Export Data powered by Datamyne Drawer – Descartes’ Datamyne is a cloud-based global trade content and market intelligence solution. Members that have access to Trade Data are able to search by specific products and make insightful business development and purchasing decisions using trade data from over 200 countries.

DWCP Regulatory Data - A Navy Blue Ribbon Indicator is present on a product or company listing to denote the

company has some FDA/EQDM information included. If you have a subscription to DWCP Regulatory Data, you may click to expand the Regulatory drawer to view government and regulatory approvals for a company.

Submit a Research Request Button - If at any time you are unable to find the data you need or would like additional information for a specific company or product you can click the Submit a Research Request button found on any listing. A box will open with your specific user information pre-populated and you can fill in details explaining what you need. When you click submit our Research Department receives an alert and will be in touch within 24 - 48 hours.

Shipping Calculator - We recently released a new Shipping Calculator (Beta) to all users. The shipping data is integrated from a third-party, FreightOS, and can be used to get quotes for various shipments based on LCL/AIR or FCL and quantities. Any feedback that you can provide for this Beta test based on your experience is appreciated. The calculator is accessible on our newly designed homepage by simply clicking the Shipping Calculator link. Once an estimate is calculated the results can be emailed to others in your organization.
