Catholic Daughters of Court St. Cabrini #1466 welcome Megan and Little Frank to their new home and the National Regent Olga Salmaniego to the Habitat for Humanity House in Fergus Falls! We are hosting two separate events and need your

Communion Ministry to the Homebound Cathedral and St. Peter parishes wish to reach out to our parishioners who are in the hospital, in the nursing home, or homebound. We have parishion-ers from Cathedral and St. Peter’s who have volun-teered to bring Holy Communion to Riverview

Healthcare, Villa St. Vincent, and the homebound. If you or a loved one is homebound and would like to have Holy Communion brought to your home, please call or email Angie Robertson at the Cathedral Parish Office at 218- 281-1735 or [email protected] to give her your name, address and phone number. Angie will share that information with Fr. Vincent and Fr. Augie and will also give that information to one of our volun-teers who has been trained to administer Holy Communion to the Sick. That volunteer will contact you and arrange a time to come to your home to pray with you and bring you Holy Communion each week.

Spend an hour with the Lord! There are a few more open hours for Adoration: Thursday at 11:00 (winter months); Saturday at 3 :00; and Saturday at 11 am (winter months). To sign up for an hour, please contact Terry Dusek at 218-280-1269 or the Parish office.

Capital Campaign: Assuring Cathedral’s Future—Phase II The goal of this second phase is to raise $675,000, which will pay off the old debt,

the new roof, the parking lot, sound system and the lighting up-grades for the church, office, and school. We began receiving pledges during Mass on the First Sunday of Advent. You may mail in your pledge envelope directly to the Cathedral or place it in the Sunday collection. There are also information packets available in the Gathering Space and online at the Cathedral website www.crookstoncathedral.com. Just click on “Assuring Cathedral’s Future” in red on the home page.

TEC Retreats: TEC is a 3-day retreat experience that fo-cuses on the Paschal Mystery of Christ, his dying and ris-ing. It is a time to personally explore what a life lived in Christ is all about. This retreat weekend is open to all peo-ple 16 years of age and older. Upcoming TEC weekend dates are scheduled for February 16-18th, 2019 at St. Joseph’s in Moorhead, MN; and March 16-18th, 2019 at

The Diocese of Crookston will be hosting a workshop for youth ministers, catechists, priests, parents, and volunteers who work with young people in ministry on Saturday, January 26th, 2019 in the community gathering place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fosston, MN from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The workshop will be

NET Retreats are amazing, fun-filled day retreats designed to present youth with the truth of who they are as God’s children and how true joy and meaning in life are found by accept-ing Christ’s gift of salvation and living as His disciples. Some NET retreat highlights include great talks, fun skits, dynamic prayer and more led by an enthusiastic group of young Catholics on the NET Team. The theme for this retreat is “In His Image” and explores our inclination to identify ourselves by what we do rather than who we are as God’s sons and daughters. Steubenville: Rochester & Wisconsin Dells Trip

Dells trip! All students grades 9 – 12 are invited to join us for this amazing conference in Rochester MN. The Steubenville Youth Con-ferences are weekends that seek to evangelize, equip and empower youth to become radical, joyful disciples. Highlights include keynote speakers, praise and worship, Eucharistic Adoration, Reconciliation, concerts, fun, fellowship and much more. The trip will be held from July 12 – 16, 2019, & the total cost is $450 (keep your eyes open for all of our fundraising opportunities this Spring!). John Paul II Middle School Camp St. John Paul II Camp is designed to empower young people enter-ing grades 7 – 9 to become disciples of Jesus Christ by engaging them in prayer, worship, leadership skill development, scriptural reflection, and service learning. The camp is designed for youth who have a desire to grow in their faith and share that faith back home in parish and family life. The theme for this year’s camp is entitled “Relentless Father” and we are going to explore and expand on how God is not just a Father, but a Relentless Father. He is a Father that never gives up on us, never abandons us, will always search for us, protect us, and heal us. This central theme will be explored through the various keynote talks and small group discussion that happens at camp. Registration opens mid-to-late January.
