The Duwende is different but similar to the Goblin, hobgoblins, elves, dwarves, gnomes, little spirits, and more
Ano gagawa ng Duwende?
They take your things,and laugh at you when you try to find it. They give it back when they feel like it,or when you tell them to please give it back
Ano gagawa ng duwende?
They will give good or bad fortune to people
Anong oras lumabas ang Duwende?
They usually come out at 12 noon for an hour and during the night.
Duwende
Dwende average 3" in height, or about the size of a finger. They generally sit hunched up and barefoot, and have knobby joints and white beards. Their eyesight is poor due to a large part of their lives being spent either underground or aboveground after sunset, but they have very good hearing and speak quite clearly in a whistling voice. They like to live near friendly humans and often make their homes in fruit trees or back gardens.
Duwende Encounter Story
ONCE UPON a time, I was a very contented housewife, not at all desperate. My husband, an architect, is a good provider. He is not a millionaire but he is a faithful
husband who goes to work at 7 a.m. and comes home before 7 p.m.
I was used to a husband who would appreciate my efforts to make myself more attractive, but my husband is not that way at all. Perhaps because he is diabetic and
almost half-blind, he seldom shows appreciation.
One morning, I was at my dressing table putting on lipstick when I accidentally dropped my lipstick on the floor. I bent quickly to pick it up but could not find it. I
called Rose, my loyal maid, and she looked under the dresser and the whole bathroom. She couldn't find it.
I brushed the incident aside as simply unexplainable.
Then a week later, I was putting on my favorite earrings, the angular dangling style which are basically simple. I reached for the second right earring, but it was gone.
