Duties of Local Bar Manager
Administration of Local Bar
The Local Bar is a part of resort but situated slightly far.
Though a
separate manager has been placed; the complete administration
isunder resort. The local bar manager should follow the
administrative
procedure whatever is prevailing at present in the resort. He
will bejunior to the operational manager. However he may be at
liberty to cut
shot certain path as and when he is advised by the management td
do
so. !ollowing are the sub departments in the local bar.
"# Billing section$# Bar counter
%# &ervice staff'# (itchen staff
)# *tility staff
+# &ecurity sentries,# -etty shop eeper
/n the above section serial no. at ' 0 , are under contract.
However
local manager is fully responsible for their discipline inside
the bar. The
bar manager should resort to various means by using the help
ofsecurity sentries etc. to carry out following duties.
"# He is fully responsible for the day to day woring of the
local bar$# /t should be ascertained that customer 1 bar staff
relation is ept
very cordial. This has got a very important role to play in
the
business.%# The record of returns must be maintained and
intimated to the
2D office.'# The woring time of the staff should be informed
them
accordingly for the efficient day to day functioning of the
bar.
)# He is permitted to sign the routine complimentary issues
butre3uired to tae prior permission preferably from &hri.
4.5nantharishnan Director before authori6ing any new
complimentary.+# He should help the persons taing stoc muster
every day.,# He will be answerable for any mistae committed by
his
subordinates.
7# The preliminary en3uiries in case of any mischief done
bysubordinate should be conducted by him and the report should
accompany the actual complaint by the individual when it
isforwarded for further action to the resort.

duties andresponsibilities as follows.
"# He will be directly responsible to the bar manager$#
&hould be neatly dressed all the time
%# His duties confined to outside counter only'# He should
ensure that the amenities re3uired for the customers
are properly maintained
)# 5 good relation is prevailed in the bar and surroundings
andcustomer should not be given a chance to mae complaint.
+# 5rrangements should be made to reduce the losss."9#5ny other
additional duties entrusted to by management as and
when re3uired.
