1. Dalian “The romantic city of China”
“The pearl of north China”
“The window on northeast China”
Dalian is a major city and seaport of China, with a coastline
of 1,906 kilometers. It has mild climate which never boils in
summer and never freezes in winter.
What is more, Dalian was named as China’s most livable city
by China Daily in 2006 thanks to the fresh air, mild climate,
high afforestation rate, convenient transportation and cleaner
streets.
2. AIESEC DUT
Enthusiasm, Solidarity
AIESEC DUT was founded in May, 2007. It gradually
develops in 8 years and has a more and more impressive influence
in AIESEC Mainland. AIESEC DUT has developed from the initial
6-man chairman team to the current committee with more than
110 daily working members.
Its members cover many Dalian’s local universities
includingDalian Universities of Technology, Dongbei University of
Economics and Finance, Dalian Maritime University and Dalian
University of Foreign Languages.
3. Care For Autism (1) Brief introduction
Care for Autism is a project organized by the passionate and
dreamy youngsters who yearn to attract more social attention to
the autistic community. We will try our best to extend the warmth
to the autistic kids and families.
We will try to understand the autistic kids through the face-to-
face communication, and master relevant rehabilitation training
knowledge. We will be able to cultivate our leadership skills,
intercultural communicating and other comprehensive
capabilities in the course of the charity sale focused on kids with
autism.
(2) Amusing JD
①Provide training courses for autism kids in Star Autism
School every Wednesday and Friday, assist the teachers in
rehabilitation training.
②Launch activities integrating the kids with the society in Star
Autism School during the weekends for two or three weeks
(e.g. birthday parties and etc.)
③Participate the large scale charity sale focused on autistic
kids.
④Have a cultural exchange activity with the university
students in Dalian.
(3) Provided environment
①accommodation:
We will try our best to find free Homestay. You can have a
wonderful time with a Chinese family.
②food :
Homestay will provide three meals. Our TN, Dalian Star
Autism School will provide lunch in work time. Also, we will
present local snacks for you.
③entertainment:
We will show you around Dalian after work.
Let you enjoy the beautiful scenery and know more about
Chinese culture.
(4) Glorious history
●We begin——Care 2011 Autumn Project
In autumn 2011, AIESEC DUT IGCDP first focused on autism
children.
We provided volunteers to interact with Autism children in
class; Invited Autism expert Dr. Xiaohui to make free public
lectures; hold charity salesin collaboration with Peace Plaza
Organization.
●Golden time——Care 2014 Spring Project
1. Volunteers taught in Autism school. They designed and gave
classes to autistic kids about foreign culture and other
knowledge with the help of local teachers.
2. Joining charity sales for autism children in Dalian.
Volunteers coordinated and cooperated with our teammates
and volunteers.
3. We organized a cultural exchange activity called "Human
Library". EP shared their original understanding about autism
and experiences with autistic group with university students in
Dalian.
●Unforgettable yesterday——Care 2014 Autumn Project
In November 2014，Russian volunteers Natasha and Lisa
arrived at Dalian and became members of our Care family.
During their one-month journey in China, we worked together
to help autism children open their closed hearts, providing
them with lively lessons. In the meantime, they went out for a
city tour with us together, and got deeply attracted by Dalian.
