Uploading feedback files in duoAttaching documents to duo and Turnitin
assignmentsIntroductionIf you wish to provide students with separate feedback files (e.g. a marking pro forma in Word) on their assessments instead of marking online, follow the steps below.
Tip: Turnitin does not allow file uploading, so if you are only supplying feedback files and entering marks, you do not need to use the Turnitin interface.
Uploading files
1. Go to the Full Grade Centre for the course you require2. Find the column for the assignment in question
3. Hover over the cell for the first student4. Click the arrow that appears5. Click View Grade Details
6. Under Attempts, click Grade Attempt
7. Find FEEDBACK TO USER
Tip: Ensure that you are not editing Instructor Notes, as

students will not see this.

8. Enter the mark under Grade (if required)9. Click Browse… to find the feedback file for this student
10. Click Submit11. You will see a confirmation screen—click OK
12. You can now use the arrows on the Grade Details screen to navigate to a new student

Student instructions
1. Log into duo2. Click your name near the top right of the screen
3. Click the My Grades icon
4. Under My Grades, find the module you want and click the box
5. Your marks for this module will appear on the right6. Click the name of the assessment you want to view
7. Under FEEDBACK FROM INSTRUCTOR, click the file name
