DuraShrink maintains a superior shrink performanceby balancing a high shrink rate with a low shrink force.The bags shrink tightly to the product shape, creatinga wrinkle free package with the product’s original shaperemaining intact. In addition, bag tails are dramaticallyreduced.
DuraShrink offers superior oxygen and water vaporbarrier properties to preserve product freshness andshelf life even in wet conditions. Barrier properties aremaintained throughout the shrinkage process assuringproduct freshness.
With low temperature shrinkage, freshmeat color consistency is improved byreducing color degradation and purge.Product integrity is improved by ahigher transparency and low haze aftershrinking. This results in a more attractiveretail presentation of product packaged.
DuraShrink RSEV eliminates the use ofPVdC by replacing it with EVOH, providing a superior barrier in an Eco-Acceptable product. EVOH reduces theimpact of contaminants in a recyclingsystem and eliminates the release ofknown carcinogens from possibleincineration when processing waste. Allof the performance attributes of the DuraShrink product line are maintained or improved in this sustainable product offering.
