IV. Features and benefits

F&B’s

•  Load paper stack straight from press to finishing, No need to guillotine in between printing and finishing: which results in a huge saving of time and less paper handling.

•  Freeing the guillotine up for other jobs.

•  ONE pass, undertakes 3 functions:

–  Sheets are side trimmed (slitting wheels) to remove the white border: head and foot.

–  Sheets are also creased to stop cracking. –  Sheets can have lead and trailing edge removed by cross-knife The booklet is made and the ends trimmed in the 120T/400T trimmer

F&B’s •  Unique cross-knife function: ideally suited for jobs when covers are

oversized (SRA4, SRA3) and inners standard A4 or A3 format, (no competition)

•  Registration mark for added accuracy and quality finish.

•  The By-pass unit enables a variety of jobs to be processed: Crease the cover, handle the Inners via by-pass, Crease cover and inners, Slit/crease/cut cover only + inners via by-pass, use by-pass for all sheets, etc…

•  One operator can deal with printing and finishing, (ROI: Reducing staff cost)
