I’ve been trying to see as many new movies as I can and I highly recommend Little Women. Recently I’ve learned that several of our members have been sidelined with surgeries and/or illnesses. I know we all hope that each of them is doing better and that they continue to improve and heal. The Club has numerous activities planned for the next months. We’ve been working steadily to provide a variety of new events. We are also thinking about Club elections in the Spring. Our first order of business will be to appoint a Nominating Committee. If you can help identify potential candidates, please contact me or any member of the Board. Remember that we are a volunteer-led Club and each of us should decide what we will be volunteering to do next year, including Board positions. I want to mention something about the Membership Committee and the great work it does. If you know a potential member, please submit her name to a member of the Committee. Every potential member must reside within the Club boundaries and have lived in the greater Dunwoody area fewer than 3 years. (The Board votes yearly whether to waive the residency requirement for a 3- month period in the summer.) The committee will contact the prospective member, check her residency status, and introduce her to Club activities. Please, do not guarantee membership to a potential member until she has been vetted by the membership committee. I hope to see you at the February 4 Meet & Greet and the February 12 Luncheon. Have a great month! Mary Ann

We will visit Big Shanty Antiques of Marietta. We hope this gives some of you who can't come on Fridays a chance to 'hunt" with us. The trip will depend on good weather which can be unpredictable this time of year. We will shop at Big Shanty followed by lunch on the way home, so eat a good breakfast as we'll stay there until about12:30/1:00. Let's meet as usual at 9:30 am in the parking lot at Los Rancheros on Jett Ferry and set up our carpools. We will plan to return before rush hour.

Contact Tina at [email protected] or 770-5514413 if you're interested in this excursion
