RHP Turner Larkins (1-0, 1.52) vs. RHP Cody Bolton (1-0, 1.80) Advanced-A Affiliate SERIES FINALE WIN: Dunedin defeated the Bradenton Marauders in game one of a three game series on Friday night at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium. The D-Jays opened the scoring in the first inning, sending 10 men to the plate, and pushing across five runs. Bradenton scored their first run of the game on Dylan Busby’s solo homer to right to cut the Dunedin lead to 3-1. The Marauders added one more run in the top of the fiſth, but Dunedin plated three runs of their own in the boom of the frame. Chrisan Williams kick started the rally smacking a solo homer to right, that was followed later in the inning by Kevin Vicuna’s RBI double. Bradenton chipped away with two runs in the sixth, and two more in the eighth on Busby’s second homer of the game-a two run shot-but fell short in the ninth against RHP Ma Shannon who recorded his first save of the year. Righty Jusn Dillon went six innings, and picked up the win for Dunedin, while Ryan Noda, Chrisan Williams, Kevin Vicuna, and Norberto Obeso. Obeso went 3-4 in just his second game with Dunedin. TONIGHT’S GAME: Dunedin and Bradenton play game two of a three game weekend series in Bradenton at Lecom Park. Game three of the set will be played in Clearwater tomorrow aſternoon. It’ll be the second of 14 contests between the clubs in 2019 this evening. Dang back to 2015, the Marauders have won every season series and have posted a record of 31-19 against the D-Jays. PUSH FOR 2,500: The Dunedin Blue Jays organizaon is closing in on 2,500 wins in franchise history. SERIES FINALE WIN: Dunedin defeated the Bradenton Marauders in game one of a three game series on Friday night at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium. The D-Jays opened the scoring in the first inning, sending 10 men to the plate, and pushing across five runs. LAST START: Dunedin began their series with Fort Myers picking up the 4-1 victory at Century Link Sports Complex on Monday night. The Blue Jays struck first with two runs scored in the top of the fourth when Ryan Noda smacked a single to right to score Riley Adams to make it 1-0. In the top of the fifth, back to back RBI hits from Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Cullen Large extended the Dunedin lead to 3-0. Samad Taylor doubled home Noda to cap off the Blue Jays scoring on the evening. RHP Turner Larkins picked up the victory on the hill for Dunedin throwing five scoreless, and striking out three. Righty William Oullette gave up the lone Miracle run in the bottom of the seventh when Travis Blankenhorn drilled a homerun to bring the lead to its’ final of 4-1. RHP Jonathan Cheshire tossed two scoreless and picked up his first save of the year.
