DUMPLINGSPIEROGI
Pierogi is a dish made from boiled dough, baked or deep fried, thinly
rolled-out and filled with a variety of fillings. In
Poland, as a filling most common: meat, sauerkraut with mushrooms,
seasonal fruits (blueberries, strawberries), buckwheat, cottage
cheese - sweet or with boiled potatoes and cheese with added fried onions
(Russian dumplings).
INGREDIENTS
• 400 g of wheat flour • 1 egg• water (warm)130ml
HOW DO TO IT1. Knead all ingredients thoroughly, so that the dough was very flexible. If the dough is too stiff, add a little
hot water.
HOW DO TO IT2. The kneaded dough, roll out thinly
and cut out circles. Apply any stuffing and mouse sticky in the form
of crescents.
HOW DO TO IT3. Boil in salted water until dumplings rise
to the surface. Thoroughly drained dumplings,
serve topped with smoked bacon and onion and fry until lightly golden brown.
You can serve them in a variety of ways, with various fillings.
