In all of the critical stages of investment selection, the
critical difference between success and failure in
commercial real estate transactions is the negotiation
leverage that can be gained from a thorough
understanding of key market demographics
DTZ wraps Investment Selection and Review Consulting
into one service package to address these critical
factors. We blend investment analysis and operating
solutions with highly specialized location advisory
services to eliminate the guess work about where to go,
and more importantly, why.
Through a "single provider" fully integrated approach,
DTZ's clients are assured of receiving "single-point-of-
contact" representation throughout the entire transaction
negotiation from concept to operations.
Our Investment Team’s capabilities include:
Assessing pertinent site-selection factors to meet
client investment goals
Short listing preferred locations, preparing and
executing a sound negotiation strategy
Analyzing and comparing the cost of doing business
among sites
The investment portfolio acquisition and operational
analyses that DTZ provides to its clients allow the
optimal real estate plan to be engineered for specific
markets and goals.
The DTZ Team includes Transaction Managers to
provide detailed analyses of market conditions, portfolio
alignment opportunities, and long term portfolio
strategies. Usually these studies fall into one of the
following categories: Portfolio Opportunity Analyses,
Master Plan development, Competitor Studies or
detailed Market Research,
Our Strategic Consultancy is an invaluable resource
that can help form or streamline any portfolio. By
considering all real estate requirements DTZ is able to
provide clients with a realistic plan for optimal portfolio

Investors
For each transaction, we work collaboratively with our
client's team to define business requirements, analyze
opportunities, develop strategies and execute solutions.
We balance long-range demand forecasts with current
supply dynamics including business unit needs, market
trends and inventories. Through a combination of market
knowledge and skillful analysis, we execute strategy-
driven transactions while exploring a spectrum of
occupancy options and negotiating the most favorable
terms possible.
We evaluate how each potential transaction impacts
everything from our client's brand image to economics,
location dynamics and operating efficiencies. The result
is uncompromised solutions that provide cost savings,
operational efficiencies, and measurable proof that each
transaction meets or exceeds client goals.
Our Transaction Advisory team’s capabilities include:
Developing cost/benefit analyses
Assisting with business location strategies

the scale and quality of our portfolio; our ability to
manage large portfolios across multiple countries is
underpinned by our infrastructure, which provides
constant monitoring and control across the entire portfolio
with real-time reporting of key indicators.
For investors, DTZ manages the relationship between
landlord and tenant. In essence, we strive to minimize
vacancies and identify new opportunities that will create
