MESSAGE

It gives me immense pleasure to learn that KV. Ubhawal is

going to publish its ‘News Letter’ for the session 2016-17.

All-round development of a child is the primary aim of any

educational institute and education imparted at school

converts every child into a perfect human being. The total

personality of individual is not only dependent on classroom teaching but their

interest in extracurricular activities sports, intellectual concepts etc. I am sure

‘News Letter’ will give opportunity to every child to display literary talents

they possess. It will give other children a good reading, food for thought to

kindle, so maximum potential comes out.

I wish the school and ‘News Letter’ and all the students to reach new heights in

every venture.

MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL DESK

We are committed to doing all we can to make this school a

successful experience for every student. We firmly believe

that a home/school partnership is necessary for the success of

all of our students. Learning is not an easy process! it involves

sharing ideas, making mistakes, and attempting new

experiences. Learning involves hard work by everyone the

teacher, the parent, the principal, but mist importantly the

student. At K.V., we value and challenge each student and provide

opportunities for success. Instruction is based on the Common Core Standards.

We also focus on the Lifelong Learning Standards, which include equipping

our students to be collaborative workers, self-directed learners, participants in

society, information processors, effective communicators, and complex

thinkers. Our student's success is the center of all we do. We can work together

to build skills and knowledge, reinforce values, and develop a strong sense of

self worth. We must invest our time and energies in our nation's most valuable

resource-our children.

Investiture Ceremony- Students council of primary wing was

selected by the committee members of vidyalaya. All were given

badges & sachets during investiture ceremony.

Orientation day - Tiny tots were welcomed to the vidyalaya.

International Yoga Day- International Yoga day was celebrated on 21 june.

Mass yoga was done by all the students and teachers. Ms Kiran (yoga teacher)

told the importance of yoga and how to maintain physical and mental fitness.

Healthy body keeps healthy mind.

CCA Activities- Gives extra dimension to child's personality. They

enhance leadership, healthy recreation, self discipline and confidence

among the students. Display board decoration group song and dance,

rangoli, salad decoration, fancy dress and skit were conducted during

the year under CCA.

Community Lunch- Habit of sharing and eating together is inculcated

through community lunch.

Sports Day- Sports day was held on in which Mr. Harcharan Singh

Sarpanch Ubhawal was the chief guest. The main attraction of the sports

day were various interesting games like balloon buisting, sack race,

lemon spoon race, relay race, long jump etc. Medals were distributed to

the winners for their achievements.

Cub-Bulbul Activities- Various camps were organized in which

students were trained for various charans and motivated to serve the

society.

Foundation day and Grand parents day- were celebrated on

15-12-2016 in which Mr. Ankur Srivastava Branch Manager SBOP

Ubhawal was the chief guest. Students presented speeches on the

emphasized the importance of grandparents in over life. Various

games were conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners.

Excursion- Children reliving lunch while sitting in the lap of nature

students went to Patiala to see Dukhnivaran Gurudwara Sahib, Dear

Park, Shesh Mahal, Baradari garden and enjoyed the trip.
