Machine parts made from stainless steel are designed to survive in the worst environments. Heat, pressure, seawater, liquid and gaseous media like detergents and other chemicals. If these machine parts also have to work as a bearing, the combination with iglidur® high-performance polymers is ideal. All bearings are lubrication free and the plastic parts are secured axially and radially in the housings with positive fit.
The suitable iglidur® material can be selected according to the application and used for linear and/or rotary motions.

The use of 1.4571 and 1.4301 makes of the guides resistant to seawater and chemical con-tact corrosion, and the guide shafts are also made from 1.4571. Despite the lack of surface hard-ness, required for instance by recirculating ball bearings, they are suitable for use with plain bear-ings. The large bearing surface of a plain bearing reduces the surface pressure to a quite safe value.
Lubrication freedom with drylin® for a baking and conveyor unit
drylin® W guide rails are accredited to Cleanroom-standards and therefore used in this blister machine.

SHTC-HYD – hygienic design
Dimensions [mm]
Based on the “hygienic design” idea, this version offers an easily cleaned solution. The screw connections are raised with no dirt traps, and any gaps are intentionally wide. The materials used are plastic and VA stainless steel.
The lead screw unit can be supplied completely with FDA-compliant materials.
