druker-­‐altered-­‐genes-­‐twisted-­‐truth/        Steven  Druker’s  Alliance  for  Bio-­‐Integrity  filed  a  lawsuit  to  obtain  early  biotech  regulatory  discussions  from  within  the  FDA.  These  revealed  stark  warnings  about  GMOs  by  FDA’s  own  scientists  –  warnings  that  FDA  suppressed.  They  also  revealed  that  rats  fed  FlavrSavr  tomatoes,  the  first  ever  GMO  crop,  had  unexplained  stomach  lesions.  Steven  Druker  exposes  both  the  unscientific  basis  of  claims  that  genetic  engineering  is  precise  and  predictable  and  the  failure  of  the  U.S.  to  regulate  GMOs  for  food  safety.      After  the  talk  join  Steven  Druker,  Bioscience  Resource  Project  scientists  Jonathan  Latham  and  Allison  Wilson  and  other  local  non-­‐profits  for  refreshments  and  discussion.
