Azad Govt. of the State of Jammu & Kashmir Information Technology Board, Muzaffarabad Tender Notice Computerization of Driving Licenses in AJK Azad Jammu & Kashmir information Technology Board was established in 2001 under an act of AJK Legislative Assembly with the mandate to act as regulatory, advisory and monitoring body for all IT Initiatives in AJK. AJK Information Technology Board has initiated a project titled as Computerization of Driving Licenses in AJK” with Overall objectives to improve the service delivery, managing, operating and making accessible the driving license issuance procedure and to enhance the perceived level of tenure security. The vision behind the project is to establish an efficient, accountable, equitable and secure solution for provision of driving license services to the general public or the State along with establishment of IT Infrastructure and basic IT Hardware under the scope of the project at each of the 10 district headquarters. AJK Information Technology Board intends to invite sealed bids from well reputed Information Technology Firms/Companies for procurement of IT equipment against the project “Computerization of Driving Licenses in AJK”. Request for Proposals (RFP) for said project can be obtained on production of valid documents of the firm like audit reports, affidavit of non blacklist firm & authorized dealer/rep etc after the payment of PKR. 5000/-(Non refundable) in shape of pay order / bank draft form AJK Bank in the name of DDO of IT Board. Firms/Companies should submit amount of 2% of bid as earnest money. Only complete tenders in all respect along with technical details would be considered. All the bidders should submit/deposit the complete tender within 15 days after first publication of this tender notice. The Competent Authority reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason. Also available on www.ajk.gov.pk.
