SLOGGING HAMMER DRILLING PROCEDURE MANUAL

STEP 1
Determine the appropriate Slogging Spanner size for the application.
STEP 2
Use marking blue to spray over the area where the hole will be drilled.
Use a scriber and ruler to mark from corner to corner.
Use a centre punch to punch a locating hole at the intersection point for the pilot drill.
STEP 3
Preferably use a pedestal drilling machine for this application.

STEP 4
Build a setup consisting of a vice and a stabilizing block.
When clamping, make sure the Slogging Spanner is level.
STEP 5
Firstly, use a smaller drill, Ø5mm to drill a pilot hole. Use the punched hole to align the drill.
Peck drill by drilling for 2-3mm deep and then retracting the drill to get shaving control.
Repeat this process until the hole is drilled.

STEP 6
Secondly, use a Ø10.2mm drill to drill the correct size hole for the Ø10mm pin.
Peck drill by drilling for 2-3mm deep and then retracting the drill to get shaving control.
Repeat this process until the hole is drilled.
STEP 7
Lastly, use a countersink bit to chamfer both sides of the Slogging Spanner.
Make sure the Slogging Spanner is de-burred.
Then use the Slogging Hammer's removable pin to make sure the fit is to satisfaction.
