DREDGING Item #1-A1

Corrections

1. I was reading through the documents for the Watson Bayou Channel Dredge, and I noticed a bid

bond is required, but it didn’t state the percentage of the total cost the bid bond should be

for. What percentage does it need to cover? 5%, 10%? A bid bond will not be required.

RFP 18 Item #1 questions

1. Can you provide the route that the barge will take from the dredge area to the off-load area at

the shipyard in Allanton? See picture from one pin is located on the Nelson Yard and the other

is on the offload location at the Allanton Facility.

2. Has the dredge area been dredged before or will it be the first time that this area has been

dredged? No it has not.

3. Can you provide borings of the dredge area? See attached borings of the area.

4. Has there been a budget placed on this project? Not able to disclose that information.

5. When would work begin on this project? We are looking at the fourth quarter 2018.

6. How much time would be allotted for this project? We are looking at about 80-100 dredging

days.

7. Will the permit be modified to reflect mechanical dredging before the bid is due? Not sure we

are in the process this has been discussed with all involved.
