Dr. Lois E Wilkins, PhD, APRN, owner of The Eagle’s Nest Holistic Mental Health, Inc., is offering a series of classes exploring Depth Psychology beginning in April 2017. For those needing CE, Certificates of Attendance will be provided after each session for 90 minutes of contact. Depth Psychology is a holistic mind/body/spirit branch of analytical psychology. It is exquisitely tailored for the holistic practitioner and unique for those individuals seeking meaning. This series of twelve sessions will introduce the dynamics integral to understanding depth psychology. Session topics include: April 6, 20 Dreams May 4, 18 Modern-Day Applications of Ancient Myths June 1, 15 Growing Down, as Contrasted to Growing Up July 6, 20 Symbolism in the Media September 7, 21 Individual Symbols October 5, 19 Neuroscience and Memory Dreams: Approaching the Unconscious April 6 and 20, 2017, 9:30-11:00 AM ~ $35.00/session Lawrence Public Library, Meeting Room C Just as the physical body has self-regulating mechanisms to sustain stability, Psyche maintains balance through the use of imagery, the type of symbols often found in dreams. By the end of this first program, you will understand the significance of dreams to wellness/wholeness. Call 785-766-9441 by March 30, 2017 to register. Future meeting venues may change, depending upon the number of registrants. Further information about the content of other classes in the series will be provided via email by request at this same telephone number, and they will be updated on the www.kcjung.org website.
