The group dream came together as a pop group when they were introduced to Sean “puffy” Combs. They performed at a private showcase at the Beverly Hills hotel and the Bad Boy CEO was so impressed he signed the girls on the spot.

Kenny Burns of 2620 Music, The Los Angeles based management firm, held auditions in search of a dream. The result was Ashley, Melissa and Holly . With a little more searching they found the missing link, Holly’s best friend Diana. Dream was now complete with Ashley Poole, Diana Ortiz, Holly Arnstein and Melissa Schuman.

Dream was a big hit in the music world in 2000 with the release of "He Loves You Not.” It was released on September 19th, 2000. The chart-toping

single kept the radio and charts hot for weeks, and drew lots of attention toward the young singing group. That same year Dream was featured in magazines like Teen, YM, Vibe, Cosmogirl, TeenStyle,and many others.

The girls toured through the United States and into Canada with hot groups like N'SYNC. When there was a break in performing live, Dream went back into the studio to work on a debut album, It Was All a Dream. The C.D was released on January 23rd, 2001.
