KURETASE DRAMA

The patient enter the delivery room with bleeding more or less 250cc.Midwife 1 : Yes sir. What’s going on with your wife? What happen to her?Husband : Miss…my wife fell in the bathroom after she took a bath, many blood flew. I was so

panic so I brought her to the hospital.Midwife 2 :Miss…please lay down on the bed to be observed.Patient : I am so dizzy miss, my body is so weak.Midwife 1 : Okay miss. Just lay down please.Midwife 2 : we set the infuse set first.Midwife 1 : I will call the doctor to observe more.Husband : miss..are my wife and the fetus gonna be okay?Midwife 2 : just be patient sir, we are trying to make it.

The Midwife call the doctorMidwife 1 : hello, good morning doc..I’m the midwife in the delivery room want to tell you that

there is a bleeding patient, general condition is weak and looks so pale.Doctor : okay miss. I’m coming. Please keep your eye on to the patient.

5 minutes later, the doctor come.Doctor : Miss…how old was your pregnancy when the last checking?Patient : it was 15 weeks doc.Doctor : by the way sir, do you know the blood group of your wife? She gets many bleeding and

probably she will get transfusion.Husband : I haven’t ever checked it doc.Doctor : if like that, midwife, please call the laboratory staff to check the blood group of her.Midwife 2 : okay doc.

The midwife call the Laboratory staffMidwife 2 : Hello, the lab staff please come to the delivery room, there is bleeding patient and need

blood group observation.Lab staff : okay, we go there soon.Doctor : okay, miss. For the mother, we are gonna do “kuret” because the fetus can not be

maintained anymore. Sir..we are gonna do kuretase to your wife because she gets bleeding so much and the fetus in your wife’s uterus can not be maintained anymore.

Husband : yes doc. Just do the best to my wife.

The lab staff comeLab Staff : excuse me miss.. I will take your blood in your finger to check your blood group.Patient : okay please.Lab staff : okay ma’am. It’s finish. I will bring this to the laboratory to be checked.

Doctor : midwife, please prepare the equipment and make the patient is in comfortable position with litotomi position to do the kuretase.

Midwife 1 : okay doc.Midwife 2 : sir, just stay beside your wife to give her motivation please.Lab staff : Doc..this is the result of the patient’s blood checking and the result is B.Doctor : please tell it to the midwife.Midwife 1 : doc..preparation for kuretase is ready.
