Die skool maak gebruik van die bestaandeSuid-Afrikaanse kurrikulum en sal die Ama-zingBrainz-metodologie in2015intweeklasseimplementeer.Hierdieklassesalas toetslopie

dien en elk sowat 15 kinders van 6 en 7 jaaroud insluit. Dit is gewoonlik op dié ouderdomdat kinders ’n laerskool betree, maar in Lig-straal se geval is die kinders se verstandelikeontwikkeling soortgelyk aan dié van ’n kindvan 18 maande tot 4 jaar oud. Met dit in aggenome is baie van hierdie kinders nie emosi-oneel of verstandelik gereed om na ’n laer-skool te gaan nie, maar die skool hoop dat hy,met die hulp van Amazing Brainz, onderwy-sers en hul assistente kan oplei in VKO-meto-des.

Amazing Brains bied breinstimuleringsak-tiwiteite aan kinders tussen die ouderdomvan 3 maande en 5 jaar. Method:

Preheat oven to 190ºC. Layer sweet potatoes in a greased heat-resistant casserole dish. Spread spinach over sweetpotatoes, sprinkle with cheese, nutmeg and seasoning. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper then dip in

sour cream (or yoghurt), and then in breadcrumbs. Arrange on top of spinach. Mix leftover milk and sour cream andpour over chicken. Cover and bake in the oven for 30 -40 minutes until the breasts are cooked through. Removefrom the oven and sprinkle with more cheddar cheese, place under grill to brown and bubble. Serve warm.
