Back in 1897, Harry (call me “Dock”) Dougherty opened Dock’s

Oyster House in Atlantic City and quickly became well known for his

simply prepared and reasonably priced oyster stews, fried fish and

raw bar. Adhering to these principles while keeping pace with the

changing times, Dock’s has continued in operation for over

a century and remains one of the most popular and highly acclaimed

restaurants in Atlantic City.

Harry’s great-grandson Frank and his wife Maureen (who also own

the Knife & Fork in Atlantic City) bring you Harry’s Oyster Bar &

Seafood, designed to recreate the old time oyster bar and seafood

house of Harry Dougherty’s day. Harry’s features high quality, fresh
