I intend to appeal to the Vice-Chancellor regarding my grade of 45 in Trusts, but before I do so will like you to confirm that the examinersof Trusts were present at the “moderation and standardization meetings” to which you refer in point 4 of your reply to me in your letter ofNovember 6th. If so, can you give your assurance that the examiners of my papers were present at the meetings.

Thank you for your email and for explaining your intention to escalate your complaint to stage three. Due to staff illness andunavailability I am unable to confirm at this point the precise details of moderation and standardization utilised for the Law ofTrusts paper as you request. I can however, confirm that the response to a stage three complaint is thoroughly investigatedand would address such points if pertinent to the enquiry.

I am sorry that I cannot provide the reassurance that you seek at this juncture. However, if you re-read my letter of the 6th

November 2012 you will note my confirmation that your script had been reviewed by the Chair of the Examination Board.
