Aim for “Fashion Group International” Competition.

The trend report should be at least 7 pages, including: Page 1: Cover page (Include Theme/Title/ Season/ Target Consumer

Category/ Price Category)

Page 2: Inspired pictures

Page 3: Outfit fashion style trend (Include pictures and short description)

Page 4: Fabric/textile trend (Include pictures and Fabric content)

Page 5: Trend of accessories or trims (Include pictures and short description)

Page 6: Color trend (Include color story, pictures of images)

Page 7: Conclusive/suggestive fashion trend images.

Style board (Printer paper size 11 x 18) According to your theme, design at least 6 Ensembles. Use a body template for drawing flats. MUST include in style board/sheet: Sub-Title: Theme, Season, Target consumer, and Price category,

Flats (MUST include Front and Back views) for each item.

Style number for each item.

Written Descriptions Begin with a definition of the line

Description of your group line (e.g. your inspiration, your design philosophies, current fashion trend, color, style, your target consumers, category, price range, season, etc.)

Description of your design (principles and elements)

Description of your potential career (e.g. designer, description of designer’s role)

Include: At least 1 reference Text citations in APA style.

Writing format: In APA style, 3~4 pages in single space, font size 12 points.

You will design, develop, and organize a Group Line. Follow the next procedure.

Theme Trend, Inspiration, or Story of the line.

Choose Only 1 Theme. Theme is a styling detail, trim, or color story that is used

consistently throughout the group. Style a group based on “Theme” Group lines are organized around Fabric groups.

Research Analysis current fashion trend and companies who produce similar

products in the market and your target consumer. Gather pictures of image related to your theme (idea) and current

fashion.

Organize Select only pictures that are relevant and related. Remember! Plan

a line so that all styles have a “consistent visual image”.
