Heritage preservation is one of the important project which was taken up to create awareness about historical monuments and its preservation . Through this project students actively participated in activities like Quiz competition, Model making, Power Point Presentation and Article writing. Quiz competition was one of the Interesting activity where in students answered the questions. During the activity healthy competition is created amongst themselves. Models on various historical monuments had been prepared by the students. The Tajmahal,The India gate, The Lotus temple And The Pyramids of Egypt have been made during the activity. The Power Point Presentation is also made on the same topic, in which they presented attractive information, pictures and videos regarding the subject. The articles are written to enlighten the importance of heritage preservation. Enough details are given through the articles. Overall the necessity of heritage preservation is being discussed and explored during the above activities . One of the challenges involved in this project is collaboration with the foreign school. We approached lots of school but initially no schools were ready to go ahead with the collaboration. Finally we got two school for collaboration. Overall the experience was good, enriching and fruitful. Ms. Namita Athanikar
