Allocation of foodgrains under Welfare Institutions & Hostels Scheme for the Ist half of year2018-2019 (April 2018 to September 2018) -- regarding.

This refers to the request of this Department for releasing allocation of 503.640 MT rice per month for

the State of Tripura under Welfare Institutions & Hostels scheme for the 1st half of 2018-2019 (April 2018 to

September 2018) communicated vide even No. 1866 dated 13.03.20 18 (copy enclosed).

2. In this regard, I would inform you that necessary UC for the 2nd half of 20 17-18 (October 2017 toMarch 2018) as per GFR 12-C (GFR 2017) is sent and enclosed herewith for taking necessary action from

your end. Regarding periodical audit report of the said period as per the new guideline, this is to inform youthat since the usage period is just completed, this department has taken initiative to undertake necessary

process of audit and the report will be sent in due course.

3. In view of the above, I am to request you kindly to release allocation of 503.640 MT rice permonth for the State of Tripura so that the State Govt. may able to distribute rice to the 479 Nos Hostelsl

Institutions for distribution amongst the beneficiaries/hostellers @ 15 kg per hosteller per month during 2018- ,"19.

This refers to the requirement of rice as per schedule given below under Welfare Institutions & Hostels

2. The utilization certificate (D/C) offoodgrains (Rice) under Welfare Institutions & Hostels scheme for

the 2nd half of 2017-18 as per GFR-12-C (GFR-2017) will be sent on due date and required Audit report will be

uploaded in State e-PDS portal (fcatripura.gov.in) as soon it is received. .

3. In view of the above, to continue supply chain, uninterrupted I am to request you kindly to release

allocation of503.640 MT rice per month for the State ofTripura so that the State Govt. may able to distribute rice

to the 479 Nos Hostels/ Institutions for distribution amongst the beneficiarieslhostellers @ 15 kg per hosteller

subject cited above and to furnish herewith the Utilization Certificate (UC) of food grains (Rice) Under

Welfare Institutions & Hostels scheme as per GFR-12-C (GFR 2017) for the 2nd half of 2017-18 i.e :

October'2017 to March'2018 at Annexure-A. The same will be uploaded in the State e-PDS portal

(fcatripura.gov.in) for further necessary action. The Audit Report will be sent and uploaded after

completion of the process.
