Living A Thankful Life
1Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! 2 Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! 3
Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! 5 For the LORD is
good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 100 (ESV)
1Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures
forever! 2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from
trouble 3 and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. 4 Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; 5 hungry and
thirsty,their soul fainted within them.
Psalm 107:1-5
6 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from
their distress. 7 He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. 8
Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! 9 For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills
with good things.
Psalm 107: 6-9
12 remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from
the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the
world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought
near by the blood of Christ.
Ephesians 2:12-13
In the name of God, Amen. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal

Christian faith, and the honor of our King and Country, a voyage to plant
the first colony in the Northern parts of Virginia;
Mayflower Compact
do by these presents, solemnly and mutually, in the presence of God, and one another; covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil body politic; for our better ordering, and preservation and furtherance of the ends aforesaid; and by virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame, such just and equal laws, ordinances, acts, constitutions, and offices, from time
to time, as
Mayflower Compact
shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general good of
the colony; unto which we promise all due submission and obedience.
In witness whereof we have hereunto subscribed our names at Cape Cod
the 11th of November, in the year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord King
James, of England, France, and Ireland, the eighteenth, and of Scotland the fifty-fourth, 1620.
Mayflower Compact
"Thus stands the cause between God and us, we are entered into Covenant with Him for this work... Now if the Lord shall please to bear us, and bring us in peace to the place we desire, then has he verified this Covenant, and sealed our Commission.“
