ENGLISH * FaLL 2016 Dr. Cindy MacKenzie Cindy MacKenzie has taught at the University of Regina since 1988. She teaches undergraduate courses in poetry, expository essay writing, literature and the environment, and American women’s literature. And graduate courses in Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman, Robert Frost as well as Nineteenth-century American women’s fiction. She has received the Inspiring Teaching Award from the Teaching Development Center at the University of Regina in 1996 and 2006. She was chair of the Saskatchewan Book Awards from 1997-2002 and has served on the Board of the Emily Dickinson International Society from 2005 to 2010. She is currently the editor of the Scholars Series in the Emily Dickinson International Society Bulletin.
