1. Provide academic leadership in the school and conduct psychological researches. 2. Implement instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged

in meaningful learning experiences. 3. Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying

backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs. 4. Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the

learning process. 5. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other

professionals on a regular basis.


6. Ensure that student growth and achievement is continuous and appropriate for age group, subject area, and/or program classification.

7. Establish and maintains cooperative working relationships with students, parents, and the schools.

8. Participate in training and presentations about online teaching. 9. Maintains a current perspective in the field through attending professional meetings, seminars,

and workshops, and through reading the current literature that relates to the course material. 10. Provides an appropriate syllabus for each course. 11. Updates lectures and materials used in classes. 12. Organizes courses to achieve explicit goals and to provide for individual student development. 13. Makes explicit to students the goals of the course and their importance, grading systems of the

course (including nature and dates of tests), performance expectations, and specific assignments. 14. Participates in developing new programs and courses or introduces appropriate major revisions in

existing programs and courses. 15. Communicates enthusiasm about the subject, makes the course stimulating, and reflects poise

and self-confidence. 16. Demonstrates a professional attitude; avoid topics that are completely irrelevant to the course and

unnecessary comments of a critical nature. 17. Uses patients’ information technology and current teaching aids effectively. 18. Utilizes effective and comprehensive means of evaluation and keeps students informed of their

progress. 19. Attends workshops, meetings, and professional conferences to improve teaching. 20. Responds in a sympathetic, helpful, and friendly manner to students’ requests for academic

assistance.
