During my study years in the US, I experienced valuable academic and social experiences… These have significantly contributed and shaped my academic and public career. I would like to express my appreciation to AICEF for providing me the scholarship that had facilitated greatly my study years in the US. Dr. Armida S. Alisjahbana Executive Secretary, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (ESCAP) (2018 - Present) Minister of National Development Planning Head, National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) of Republic of Indonesia (2009 - 2014) Being able to study at Juilliard is a BIG privilege… I had a chance to meet, interact, watch, and listen to passionate artists from the dance division, drama division, and of course the music division. Through Juilliard, I was able to study privately with one of my all-time favorite jazz pianist, Kenny Barron, and participated in a master class with Wynton Marsalis. AICEF support has made it easier for me to focus on my craft while I was in school without worrying about how to make a living. Thanks, AICEF!
