2. Introduction of Dr. A.Q khan Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan is a world-renownednuclear scientist and metallurgical engineer, widelyacclaimed as Founder and Father of PakistansNuclear Deterrence Program. April 1 being his 77th birthday, let us pay tribute tothis living legend during his life time. Khan was born in an urban Muslim family of literaryand religious scholars on April 1, 1936 in Bhopal,India. 3. Introduction of Dr. A.Q khan A man with illustrious linguistic capabilities, he wasfluent in English, Urdu, Dutch, German, and alsospoke French and Persian. Khan claimed the lab was doing only work relevantto the peaceful uses of nuclear technology, butengineers at KRL worked on rocketry and inter-continental weapons delivery systems. Western-led international media made consistentpropaganda against Pakistans efforts to developnuclear capability. 4. Islamic bomb (Pakistani atombomb) Pakistans nuclear program has always been atarget for Western propaganda and falseaccusations. I would like to make it clear that it wasan Indian nuclear explosion in May 1974 thatprompted our nuclear program, motivating me toreturn to Pakistan to help create a credible nucleardeterrent and save my country from Indian nuclearblackmail. Various legal proceedings launched against Khanin the Netherlands came to nothing. Collectiveefforts by Dutch and US intelligence agencies alsofailed to identify any concrete evidence on theworks of Khan. We knew a lot, a senior nuclearintelligence official told William Broad and DavidSanger of the New York Times , but we didntrealize the size of his universe. 5. Nuclear Spy?? A.Q. Khan, the scientist in charge of Pakistansnukes for 25 years, was under house arrest from2004 to 2009 for selling nuclear know-how to Iran,Libya, and North Korea. Pakistan refuses to allowhim to be investigated by the U.S. B.B.C news says Dr. A.Q nuclear spy. One of the western generalist says that it is nodoubt Dr. A.Q khan make the world moredangerous place. Also said master plan of A.Q khan is stolen thenuclear secrets of west and build a atomic bombfor Pakistan. 6. House arrest from 2004 to 2009 7. Nuclear Spy?? Set a smuggling network.. Sell the secrets to the middle east Libya to Iran. USA not want that any country get a nuclearpower Many country get a nuclear bomb its a greatestfailure of history. USA What isthis..????????????????? 8. aGreat propaganda against Islamicworld and Pakistan By USA and western 9. No AQ Khan network, only westernsuppliers There was no AQ Khan nuclear proliferationnetwork; there were only Western suppliers ofnuclear wares. This is borne out by the reportsubmitted recently by a Swiss Magistrate into theaffairs of three members of Tinner family. The report has spelt out that there was as such noAQ Khan network but several members of the so-called network (actually suppliers) werecollaborating with CIA and MI6. 10. No AQ Khan network, only westernsuppliers It has been established beyond doubt that threeTinners,- father Frederick Tinner and his two sonsMarco and Urs Tinners were working for CIA atleast since 2000 till Dr. Khans fall from highpedestal on February 4, 2004 on charges ofproliferation to Libya, Iran and North Korea. There was no network. There were only westernsuppliers. At some point and time, they also startedsupplying the same ware that they were supplyingto Pakistan to Iran and Libya, Dr. Khan hasmaintained. However, he has conceded that he was aware thatthe western suppliers were fueling the Iranian andLibyan nuclear programs. 11. No AQ Khan network, only westernsuppliers Abdul Qadeer Khan had established a networkthrough Dubai to smuggle URENCO technologyto Engineering Research Laboratories. In the1980s, reports on negotiations between PeoplesRepublic of China and Pakistan for the saleof (UF6) and HEU fuel surfaced in the media. Thereports alleged that "A.Q. Khan had paid a visit toChina to provide technical support in their nuclearprogram whilst aiding in building the centrifugefacility in Hanzhong province. According to anindependent IISS report, Zia had given a "freehand" to Qadeer Khan and given unlimited importand export access to him. 12. No AQ Khan network, only westernsuppliers In 1987, Iran wanted to purchase a fuel-cycletechnology from Pakistan, but it was rebuffed. Ziadecided that the civil nuclear cooperation with Iranwas purely a "civil matter" and part of maintaininggood relations with Tehran. Zia did not furtherapprove any nuclear deals, but Qadeer Khansecretly handed over a sensitive report oncentrifuges in 198789. New allegations made by the New York Times saythat Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan sold $100 million worthof nuclear gear to Libya and as a sweetenerincluded blueprints for a 10-kiloton nuclear bomb. 13. No AQ Khan network, only westernsuppliers Strong calls were made by many senior IAEAofficials, U.S. and Europea Commission politicians, have Abdul Qadeer Khan interrogated by IAEAinvestigators, given the lingering scepticism aboutthe disclosures made by Pakistan regardingQadeer Khans activities. All such requests werehowever strongly dismissed by the Primeminister Shaukat Aziz and the government ofPakistan, terming it as "case closed". The Pakistanis insisted they had no evidence ofany proliferation at all, a claim American officialssaid they found laughable. So far, said European intelligence officials familiarwith the agencys inner workings, no hard evidenceof clandestine nuclear arms programs hassurfaced. 14. SALAM Dr. A.Q KHAN for saving Islamic world and PakistanI LOVE YOU A.QKHAN
