Dear Parent, 3 June ’17Greetings!!It’s time for summer vacations. The School will be closed wef 4 June’17 and reopen on 3 July’17.We had an action packed, invigorating learning programme throughout the first thirty three days of academic session spanning 2 May – 3 June 2017. In continuation with our philosophy of holistic grooming of our students right from Kindergarten, we aim to address the Multiple Intelligence in early childhood years. I’m going to sound a bit like a text book now, I’m sorry! Kindly bear with me! Our lower kindergarten educational programme aims to address each of the seven domains mentioned below. Our holiday home assignments, worksheets, activities as well as the curriculum of UKG address the Multiple Intelligence of Early Childhood Care and Education.The school curriculum is designed in a way to cater to multiple intelligence theory so are the tasks for summer holiday home assignment . Lets identify the 9 intelligence humans are gifted in varying designs.

number/reasoning smart. 3. Musical Intelligence :- People in this domain are musical / sound smart. 4. Visual- Spatial Intelligence :- People in this domain are picture smart. 5. Bodily – Kinesthetic Intelligence :- People in this domain are body smart. 6. Interpersonal Intelligence :- People in this domain are people smart. 7. Intrapersonal Intelligence :- People in this domain are self smart. 8. Naturalistic Intelligence :- People in this domain are nature smart. 9. Existential Intelligence :- People in this domain are spirit smart.

We seek to help our students develop a sense of accomplishment and self – confidence by recognizing different abilities in themselves. We strive to cater to the complete spectrum of multiple intelligence through our teaching learning methodology.The holiday home assignments activities are based on multiple intelligences approach.Facilitators have match various activities in the holiday home assignment to the MI Theory to create fun filled exciting activities to keep children fruitful occupied. Help your child to do it.

Morning Blessings: Help your child to inculcate good habits like doing ‘Surya Namaskaar’ and encourage him/her to greet all elders. If possible, visit a temple or any other place of worship.Fun with Books: Read English and Hindi stories to your child with morals and colorful illustrations. Fun with Children: Cook dinner together. Show your child how to measure 1

cup, 1/2 cup, 1teaspoon etc. Start naming the food groups when you serve. Let your child help in household chores like dusting, filling

water bottles, laying table for dinner and many more. Have walks together and talk to your kid about what

he/she likes and dislikes. Help your child to learn the spelling of his/her name every

day; memorize the address and your phone numbers too. Help your child in learning how to open and close his/her

water bottles, lunch box, school bag . Help your ward in revising phonetic sounds everyday.

Note : The school closes from 4th June to 2nd july 2017 for Summer Break and reopens on 3rd July 2017. Submit the Summer Holidays Assignment on July 6, 2017.
