Joint Secletary (Piralrna) made a brief presentation on NlPERs-specializations, annual stu-dent's intake and pass out numbet's ancl expectations fi'om lndustr.y. Theretipon all 7 NIpERsmade theil respective plesentations informing the strengths and .skill sets of ilieir graduates.

Ail the Industry leadels present offered a number of valuable suggestions on their. expecta-tions fi'om the NIPERs while considering cal'eer orientation andLmpus placements; of thestudents' Suggestions were also offered to consoiidate and strengthen Academia-lndustrylinkage to make NIPEIT graduates industr.y ready.

gress.Curriculum revision: DoP will constitute a cotnmittee to review the NIPER Curricu-

lum to ileet current ancl future medical ireeds and industtiy lequiremetrts involving In-

dustry. Industry will provide the names of expefts to be included in the said cornmit-

tee. (Action: DoP und all NIPERs; Cooldination: NIPER Ahmedabad by May 2016).

Co-ordination: llr.M.Ariz Ahammed Joint Secretary CJIPER) will facilitate the ini-

tiative of Acadenia-Inclustry linkage. In case of any difficulty both tire NIPERs and

Industry are to contact him to resolve the issues.
